Cassandra graduated with a Bachelors degree in Art Education from Winona State University. She taught a middle school art for 7 years and is currently working as a full time artist. She is a leader within the local art community and is an advocate for women in the arts. She is also the creator of Rochester's first contemporary artist collaborative Gallery 24.
Cassandra has exhibited as a solo artist as well as various group exhibitions including Winona State University, The University of Minnesota, and at the Austin Art Works Center in Austin Minnesota. Her work can be found in private collections in southeastern Minnesota, Rochester area businesses, and has had her work purchased as part of the Ridgewater College permanent collection in Willmar Minnesota. In 2016 she was awarded Rochester Mayor's Medal of Honor for Artistic/Cultural Achievement. In 2019 Cassandra opened up her own Shop/Studio called Clover & Rose which specializes in unique gifts, art, and vintage items. Cassandra lives in Rochester Minnesota with her husband and two children.
